Buster (aka Rooster Cogburn) joined Renee Walker Real Estate in August 2008.
He is a purebred PBGV (Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen) from Moore's Meadows in North Texas http://www.mm.pbgv.net/home.html. PBGVs are hunting hounds from France dating back to the 1600s. They hail from the western coast where the terrain is not unlike the Hill Country: rough, rocky, brushy, and thorny. Typically they hunt rabbits and other small prey. The breed is rugged and brave yet comical and sweet-natured.
In his young career thus far, Buster has received ribbons for "First Prize" and "Reserve Winners" at the AKC Oklahoma City Show in June 2008, a ribbon for "Second Prize" at the AKC San Antonio Show in July 2008, a ribbon for "Winners" at the AKC Houston Show in July, and the coveted "Best of Winners" ribbon at the AKC Houston Show, July 2008. Based on his shows and wins, Buster completed all the requirements to be officially recorded as a "Champion" by The American Kennel Club. But that hasn't gone to his head.
